Larry Coben is ESCALA's Founder and Co-Chair, and an archaeologist affiliated with the University of Pennsylvania. Coben is President and CEO of NRG Energy.
Doug Dunn
Doug Dunn is currently a partner in the CFSD Group, a financial advisory group. Doug has spent much of his 40-year career working in global energy at the center of major and often ground-breaking transactions involving energy companies, utilities, and investors. Mr. Dunn has extensive experience advising energy companies, private equity investors and hedge funds.
MERA GRANBERG
Mera Granberg is an advisor to several nonprofit organizations, primarily those focused on civic engagement and the defense of democratic institutions. She was the Founding Executive Director of The San Francisco General Hospital Foundation.
MAUREEN MISKOVIC
Maureen Miskovic currently co-chairs ESCALA’s Board. Maureen served as the Chief Risk Officer at Lehman Brothers, State Street Corporation, and UBS. Maureen also represented the Eurasia Group - a political risk consulting firm - as Chief Operating Officer and then Chairman.
TOM MURPHY
Tom Murphy spent nine years with the World Bank's International Finance Corporation (IFC) as their Principal Banking Specialist for Latin America. In that role, Tom led the process through which the IFC determined whether or not to lend to or invest in Latin American financial institutions. He frequently undertook this role in Africa and Asia as well. All of the projects were development-focused, providing financing to energy-smart projects, women-owned businesses and export-related agricultural projects, among others. Prior to joining IFC, Tom spent three decades based in Latin America as an executive with Bank of Montreal, Bank Boston and HSBC. He graduated from Bowdoin College and earned a joint MBA and Masters of International Affairs from Columbia University.
Sunil Paul
Sunil Paul runs Spring Ventures, a VC fund and is the founder and CEO of Spring Free EV. He was the co-founder of Sidecar, which invented ridesharing, and was founder and CEO of Brightmail (the leading anti-spam company) and Freeloader. Paul has also established civic initiatives including iCanvas.org, Cleantech for Obama, The Clean Economic Network and the Gigaton Throwdown Initiative. Some year soon he will be launched into space as a Virgin Galactic founder.
Daniel R. Revers
Daniel Revers is a co-founder of Arclight and has 25 years of energy finance and private equity experience. Prior to forming Arclight in 2000, Mr. Revers was a Managing Director in the Corporate Finance Group at John Hancock Financial Services. Before working there he held various financial positions at Wheelabrator Technologies, Inc.
Charles Stanish
Charles Stanish is a Professor in the Department of Anthropology at the University of Southern Florida. Stanish specializes in studying the development of complex political and economic systems in the pre-modern world and has worked extensively in Peru, Bolivia and Chile. He is an elected fellow of the American Academy of Arts and Sciences.
Charles Steinmetz
Charles Steinmetz is President of JCA Associates and Tierny Properties. He is also President Trustee of the Steinmetz Foundation, a member of the Governing Board of the Archaeological Institute of America and a long-time volunteer at the Cotsen Institute of Archaeology at UCLA.
Dean Vanech
Dean Vanech is Chairman and CEO of Olympus Holdings, LLC, a firm based in New Jersey engaged in electrical energy, entertainment and commercial finance. Vanech holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Western New England University. He has served on a number of non-profit boards including New York Stage & Film Company and Citizens Schools New York.

Jorge Titinger is the founder and CEO of Titinger Consulting, advising companies on M&A, digital transformation, and cultural alignment. He was President, CEO, and Director of SGI and Verigy, and now chairs the board of Axcelis. He also serves on the boards of FormFactor and Ichor Systems and has held nonprofit board roles with the Hispanic Foundation of Silicon Valley and Stanford Children’s Hospital.
