What Better way to Celebrate the Holidays than Ending Inequality?

Wishing You a Happy Holiday!

From all of us at SPI and the hundreds of artisans and entrepreneurs who benefit from our programs, season’s greetings! We greatly appreciate all you have done to help those living in poverty build sustainable futures for themselves. SPI is proud to announce that more than 85% of the entrepreneurs we have supported are women. You make all of this possible through your donation to SPI!

Empowering More Women

This holiday season, we are celebrating the successful launch of SPI’s ESCALA Business School in Peru, reflecting our growing commitment to women entrepreneurs.

In Peru, like many other countries around the world, women earn substantially less than men, about 21.2% on average. It’s no secret that current women’s economic empowerment interventions are not enough to overcome all obstacles facing female entrepreneurs in both developing and developed nations. But with your support, we can change that.

A recent study highlighted that only 1.6% of all charitable giving goes to supporting women and girls. Women face countless social and economic barriers that bar them from financial agency and self-sufficiency. Our business school model tackles those barriers directly by building women-owned businesses that provide dignified income opportunities where people can earn living wages. Your gift to SPI will directly go towards advancing gender equality globally and supporting projects like ESCALA.

Your Support Makes ALL the Difference

How can we build a world that leaves no one behind? The more support we receive for our expanding mission, the more effective the results will be. Please join us this holiday season in helping impoverished communities build sustainable futures by donating to Sustainable Preservation Initiative. Contributions may be made here or sent by check to the address below. Thank you for all that you do!
